Every day we see a lot advertisements beauty products on TV, magazines, billboards and somewhere else. These products can be good but most of them are not natural and may even contain harmful ingredients, that’s why learning some facial mask recipes to rejuvenate your skin is a good thing to do.
And besides, it only takes a little while to make a really good mask that will give your skin the proper care and nourishment it needs.
One thing to keep in mind when making facial masks from natural ingredients is to always go for the freshest ingredients to get the best effects and also to have a longer shelf life if you will be storing the mixture for any amount of time.
Natural facial masks provide revitalization, nourishment, and exfoliation as well as moisturize skin from deep within.
Here are some facial masks recipes that you can do at home:
Honey Fruit Mask
This mixture is perfect for smoothing out mature skin and wind or sun dried skins. It will also add suppleness to younger skins. You will need one teaspoon of honey and several drops of orange juice.
1. Combine the honey and juice very well.
2. Put on the mixture over the whole face.
3. Stay put for twenty minutes, then rinse through warm water and dab with cotton to fully rinse.
Avocado Face Mask
Great for dry, sensitive skin, this mask can replenish the skin’s moisture after a prolong exposure to the sun.
Ingredients are: one avocado and three to four drops of almond oil
1. Skin and puree the avocado.
2. Add up almond oil and mix together.
3. Massage gently unto the face.
4. Let it stand for thirty minutes before rinsing off with warm water.
A purifying facial mask is the same as the commercial cleansing facial scrubs and it takes off skin impurities and at the same time cleanses the pores. It also gives nourishment to the skin to make it healthy and soft.
Purifying Mint Masque
You will need one small egg white, slightly beaten, ¼ cup fresh mint leaves, ¼ cup water, a few drops of vanilla and one tablespoon of oat bran.
How to prepare:
1. Blend water and oat bran together and then put in microwave for two minutes. Wait to cool.
2. Pureed the egg white and mint in a blender.
3. Cleanse your face and then apply the mask and pat it dry.
4. Rinse with warm water, and then put an ice pack or wet towel to close down the opened pores.
There are plenty of other face mask recipes that include foods and regular kitchen items like these – you probably already have most of the ingredients in your kitchen right now!
